The American Rescue Plan is decreasing the price of medical insurance for individuals in New Hampshire and throughout the nation – making the most important enhancement to the Affordable Care Act in a decade.

In line with the Kaiser Household Basis, in New Hampshire, a household of 4 making $85,000 per year may save $228 per month on health insurance premiums because of the American Rescue Plan’s provisions. This means annual savings of over $2700.00

A retired couple in New Hampshire, each age 60, with $70,000 in annual revenue, may save $918 per month on premiums. This means annual savings of over $11.000.00

New Hampshire's state of emergency that has been in effect since March 2020 came to an end midnight Friday June 11th Gov. Chris Sununu announced.

"We've been spending a lot of time talking about not just seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, but we really are there," Sununu said. "We're kind of at the precipice, if you will, of the end of the tunnel."
